Metabrasive - Techincal Training

Metabrasive provide extensive technical training for users of metallic abrasives. This ranges from informal discussions on a ‘one to one' basis to structured seminars for individuals or groups of people. Seminars are suitable for anyone associated with the blasting operation; Production, Maintenance, Quality, Inspection etc. and for all levels of personnel, from Shopfloor to Director level.

seminars - In Automated Airblast Systems
The seminar is based upon the principle that to clean, abrasive needs energy and it gets its energy in the form of kinetic by being propelled by an air stream or a centrifugal wheel. Since kinetic energy = 1/2 mass x velocity² , the energy and hence cleaning efficiency is dependent upon the mass of the abrasive (size and amount) and its velocity (speed and direction). The seminar covers aspects that affect the size, amount, speed and direction of the abrasive. There are three basic seminars; blast-cleaning using wheel machines, blast-cleaning using airblasting and peening. The content of the typical wheel machine blast-cleaning seminar is as follows: At Metabrasive we specialise in Wheel Blast Cleaning Equipment
